Rockfire vs. Radio Shack Adaptor

There was some discussion of this in the eRacer Garage
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/) Forums.  I found personally the Radio
Shack one to be useless but haven't tried the Rockfire to compare.

Is the Rockfire USB adapter better than the radio shack one?

Thanks,

I have a terrible memory. In fact my memory's so bad I can't remember how
long it's been since I've forgotten anything.

Chris, it depends which pots you have in your wheel. The Rockfire is
excellent but works best with 250k pots.

They actually make a ne wiring block that lets it work really good with the
high grade pots ... Rockfire works well for me ...

Thanks Guys. I have the Radio Shack one now working with my TSW pedals. I
got 100k pots and get a fair amount of steppyness. I ordered the Rockfire
from http://www.***guys.com for $15.99. I will probably get the 250k pots
from TSW. But I will test it out first. I'll post my results.

Thanks again,

Chris

The 100K pots have been tested with the rockfire. It is "steppy". Even on
the TSW webpage it says the rockfire is for 250ohm pots.  I believe TSW made
another adapter for those with Spec pots.
