T2 pots in TMF1(NASCAR Pro)?

by Mark » Sat, 03 Jul 1999 04:00:00

I've got a couple of spare T2 wheel pots, but my F1's is giving up the ghost
after only about 3 months. Can I use a T2 pot in an F1? Also, the F1 looks a
lot better sealed and feels more solid.  Will the replacement task be more
difficult?

Cheers

I am pretty sure you can use the pots from the T2 in your F1, though you
may find that the resistence rating of the pot maybe different.  I
thought they changed the steering pot rating on the F1.  There are just
a ton more screws in the F1 than the T2.  However, you should still be
able to order a replacement pot for your F1.

I just checked and it was the pedal pots where they changed the
resistence rating (250k ohm for T2 and 100k ohm for F1).  The steering
pots should be similar.

That's what I get for answering off the top of my head instead of
researching first.....
