Does anyone know of a patch that will allow NASCAR to be played over a
null modem cable or through a network? I would love to be able to do

First of all, which version are you talking about?? Nascar 1 or Nascar 2.
Then, if the answer is Nascar 1, Yes, the early version of Nascar 1 did have
some trouble with serial games but was corrected in the patches available
from Sierra's web site. I'm sure they are still there. www.sierra.com
