A friend of mine has a V2 and when playing in 800x600 it keeps locking up!!
We have tried the Banshee patch but have had no luck. We have also tried
lots of different drivers but it still won't work.

It runs fine in 640x480

Thanks for any advice,

Scott

First, if his windows desk top display is 640X480, then when trying to
run a Sim/game at a higher res, will lock up the Sim/game.  If you are
after higher res.'s, make sure your desk top is set to that high res
first.

Second, Because the V2 is CPU dependent, be sure that the CPU is strong
enough to run the V2 at those res.'s.

there are other possibilities, but these are the most common solutions.

Check your clockspeed of the V2 card! Probably it's set to a higher
frequency: 95MHz. The safe frequency is 90MHz!
