Hi everyone. I'm thinking about getting N4 after I finish my computer
upgrade and I was wondering a couple of things about it. First, does the AI
in N4 ever cause crashes by itself? It seems that mose NASCAR sims have
perfect driving AI and I think that takes away from the realism. Second, is
there a decent cheap wheel/pedal combination recommendation? I don't want
to spend a whole lot of money, but also don't want to throw it away on
something lame. FF isn't really necessary, unless you all think that it is
:).

Yep, they crash on their own. Re a wheel, depends on what you mean by
cheap $ wise Logitech, ACT labs make some inexpensive ones that are good,
Thrustmaster can be good too.

You can even go cheaper with a MadCatz setup.

They certainly do, maybe not quite as often as they do in RL(tm), but I
haven't played much with the new patch. They also suffer breakdowns, etc.
They also suffer from tire wear and have to pit a lap or 2 either side of
when you do if you're pitting under green.

Do they still pit AFTER a green flag to end a caution? That always bothered me
in N1-N3. I haven't run enough in N4 to notice...
