Is this possible at all. The Windows95 game controller menu doesn't

Use the Thrustmaster entry from the list - I got it to work fine using
that one.

I don't use the F1Sim wheel, but I have played around with one. You
have to decide if you are gonna use 2 or 3 axis control (3 axis =
seperate axis for brake and throttle), 'some' F1Sim have a 'dongle' in
the pedal box to change this over (some don't).  In W95/98 control
panel/game controllers, select the.........  'Thrustmaster Formula T1/T2
with adaptor' if you are only using 2 axis control (simulates a
joystick, with single axis for brake/throttle), or the other
Thrustmaster 'without adaptor' setting if 3 axis!  In W95 (not sure
about 98), the controller must be the first in the list if you have
other controller types in your selcted list! Don't forget to calibrate
in the setup.  W95 controller software is a bummer!
Best of luck

You can add any type of new controller to the game controller list as
follows....

Make sure you have Directx5 (to get the new "game controllers"
program in control panel which replaces the old "joystick" one), and
go to control panel, game controllers, add, custom (at the top of the
list), tick 2 axis (unless you are using separate axis for the
pedals, in which case you should select three axis), select 4 buttons
(unless you only want to use 2 buttons?), tick special
characteristics, and tick "is a race car controller", type in a name,
say "F1 Sim" and click ok.

Then from the list of controllers select the newly added "F1 Sim",
select properties, select calibrate, and away you go.....
