Can a TNT2 Ultras be used for GPL?

by PRooney7 » Sat, 04 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to this newsgroup and GPL.  After lurking on this group for a bit
and reading all the posts about GPL I downloaded the demo to give it a try.  It
definately seems like one of the most interesting racing sims I have tried.

Running the demo with my TNT2 ultra, I have a very blocky image, with no
anti-aliasing.  Do I have to get a Voodoo card to get decent graphics on this
game?  Or is there a patch available for the retail version?

Is there any way to improve the graphics in the demo?

Thanks for any tips,

Paul.

The demo won't run well with your card but the full game definitely
will and is well worth it. You can pick it up cheap, 12-14 bucks.

There is a opengl thingie at papy.com that will make gpl work with your
card.  Not sure if it works with the demo.  Make sure you read the
readme that comes with it.
