F1RS and T2 Problem

by Joe Droga » Fri, 03 Apr 1998 04:00:00

Just got my US version of F1RS.
When I try and play the game wants to assign
brakes to button 1 and accelerate to button 2
gears to "axle" y (I think they mean axis) up and down.
Steering is fine (on "axle" x left/right)
Can't change it's mind with configure.

Is it just me? or is anyone else having this problem.

Joe.

Joe,

First assign the gear shift to buttons 3 and 4, the two red buttons on
the steering console base unit.. Then assign the brake and accelerator
to the pedals. Finally, assign the gear shift to the gear shift lever.
Then save the configuration and all is well. I use a T2 and it works
great.

Hi
Try to set it up, so you only use the keyboard - quit game and start it
again, now select want you really want.
It worked for me with the T3 wheel.

I did that and the Y-axis steadfastly refused to work. The 1.07 patch
fixed the problem.

I tried it and it works great for me. Thanks again Keith. I might as well
just contact Thrustmaster right now and order up spare springs.
