Sorry for the OT post.  If any of you are Starpower cable TV subscribers and
don't yet receive the Speed Channel (Speedvision) what you need to do is
call 1-877-STARPOWER, or go to the www.starpower.net site, click on Support,
then Contact Us, then send in a request that they add the Speed Channel to
your channel lineup.  The greater the number of requests (demands) we can
get in, the more likely it is that they'll add the channel.  The Starpower
support person that I spoke with yesterday said that they're adding the
channel in some communities.  In Gaithersburg, MD. the Starpower sales rep's
name is Tim.  You can also go to the Speed Channel site,
http://www.racesimcentral.net/, and fill out the "Do you get
SPEED?" line at the top right of the site.  Thanks.

P.S.  What other newsgroups should I post this too?

  Any of the racing groups...  search for Nascar F1 and CART and ALMS etc.
I used to frequent an F1 group  and a CART group but that was many years
ago..
(anyone know of anymore racing related newsgroups?)
