Help!!!  What is the best AGP video card for GPL?  Will it work fine for
other games like European Air War?  I already have the 2D area covered
with a Matrox Millenium.  Although, if the the "Best" card takes care of
2D also, that's fine with me.  There are so many cards out there.
HELP!!!!

Hi!

A Diamond Monster Fusion will do a fine job. It's a Voodoo-Banshee-Card so
it covers both 2D and 3D.

The best video card for GPL is Voodoo Banshee, but buy the PCI version cause the
AGP isn't implemented very well.

/Christer, here's a good link - http://www.tomshardware.com -

Here's a discussion on AGP vs PCI -

/Christer, find other sources too, dont trust just one source even if it makes
sense :o)

Not to start a fight or war about this.....but it's not the card that is hard to
"implement"....it's the 'implementer"........

Go with a 12MB Voodoo2 card. Since you already have a good 2D card,
dont even bother with a 2D/3D combo card.
GPL works perfectly with Voodoo2.
Also, Voodoo2 prices are dropping all the time as Voodoo3 is coming
soon
