GP1 boot problem

GP1 boot problem

I have a problem with F1GP, which was working fine from a boot disk
under Win95 until now. Now, the game will not recognise the joystick
(the calibration screen shows no input) and there is no sound. Both
still work normally otherwise. The only thing I have done since it last
worked, I think, is to install a network card, which didn't work, and
then subsequently remove it.
I have reinstalled the game and tried to recreate the bootdisk, which
now fails. I don't think that's a problem, the bootmaker is having some
trouble with my paths. I have also recalibrated and checked the stick
under Windows. What's up?

    Cheers.

Hi Gary,

It is a shot in the dark, but maybe Uncle Bill's nephew has changed
the settings of your soundcard, when installing the networkcard.
Better check if this is the case.

Why bother using a boot disk, it is possible to run F1GP in windows.  I
think that should get around the joystick problems.

For details about running F1GP under windows visit

If that doesn't help please email me back.
