>You've got a very good point there, but its games like Viper that deserve
>the game play, but not all of its money,

So, according to you,  Viper Racing which was released ORIGINALLY
as a budget title had  great gameplay but didnt deserve your money
and deserved to be stolen and burned on a CD?

Since it only cost $29.99 originally, somehow, I think you either are
an incredibly cheap bastard, or you just steal whatever you can get
away with.

Whichever the case, like I said, youre the problem, Mark.

Sigh... so you have some kinda rules that apply to what you steal?

BTW, do -you- consider yourself a thief?

When store clerks at the mall arent looking, do you just take what
you want, since the product is not worth the price they are asking?

Answer this question, Mark!

See above, thief.boy..

Thanks, I always assumed that EBworld didn't changed their online store so I
wasn't able to order a title from their website.  Thanks for the info, mmm
that's a good thing to know now! (they changed their policy from a year
ago).

(snip)
If it were illegal to tape programs off the TV - here is a frigging clue -
THEY COULDN'T SELL VCRS and RECORDABLE TAPES.  We'd all have PLAYERS and
could only watch the movies we bought or rented at Blockbuster.  Geez - if
you're going to use analogies, make proper ones.
(unsnip)

Well, on the subject of making proper analogies, please explain why CD
burners are made available to John Q. Citizen?

Hiya

Here in Australia they have a policy that you cannot return games (cd
burning and all that stuff etc). Although since moving to Brisbane
recently I noticed that EB is up here and am wondering if they have
that same policy of 10day return. In Adelaide where I moved from there
was a great hire PC game place called Interscape at Paradise so you
could try b4 buy.

EB have a global policy, Dave.
As much as I dislike the lack of "***" knowledge shown by EB staff (no
requirement for *** experience when applying for a job!) the company does
have a liberal attitude towards returns.

Data backup.  Now, if you're asking about the dual CD burners, then it's a
bit thornier.

Exactly... it's fast, capacious and reliable. At about $1 for a disk it's
also the cheapest per Meg of data (but not re-usable).
