Logitech FF Not Working

Logitech FF Not Working

I just got the Logitech Wingman Formula Foce wheel but my PC will not
recognize the wheel.  We've installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, updated
Direct X to v7.0,checked the readme files, followed all the advice Logitech
has to offer, checked the COM ports to make sure they're working, made sure
there are no IRQ conflicts...I'm lost.

When we go through Logitech's set up program, it cannot detect the wheel.
However, the wheel moves as if there is some communication between the wheel
and the PC.  The Game Controllers panel lists the wheel as "not connected".

The PC is a P133 with 80MB RAM and a SB16 sound card.  Any suggestions.
Having the wheel and not being able to use it is killing me!

Is this with windows95 or 98?  If it's 95 you'll need to download the
special Lusbsys.sys file to get it to work with any version of the profiler
other than 3.10.

If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using Win98. Are there any downloads I need for Win98?  If so, where do
I find them?

Thanks,

John

John you don't mention what drivers your using for your wheel. If you're
using less than 3.25  it won't work with DX7. Get the latest drivers from
www.wingmanteam.com  You may have to unplug your wheel, boot, turn off your
computer, hook up wheel, boot to get it to work.

I reinstalled Win98 (just ironed over) and Logi worked after this.
