Anybody have some suggestion how to improve speed in two player modem over
the modem? We both have 28.8 modems. Drive is slow and choppy, we already
tried to reduce graphics, but nothing seems to help.

About the only way to improve GP2's modem play is to use the "Use16550"
switch when running GP2.EXE.

Hi there but sorry to bring bad news but its impossible to play GP2 over modem
:(
just very very poor network programing they probably used the gp1 network
stuff :(
instead of making a new network for the sim.

Well, if it is like GP1, then you not only have to turn down graphics, but
also the FR. Even though both computers can probably run the game solo at
25fps, over the modem you may find that turning it down to 8-12fps will
help "speed" it up.
BTW, even though it always said 12fps, it never looked like 12fps while
playing over the modem. Once you were off of the modem and tried it at
12fps, then it LOOKED like 12fps.
Try it out and post what you find out (I don't play GP2 over the modem).
