N4 car make advantages

Ok, Just wondering if there are any advantages/disadvantages that
anyone has noticed between the different car makes.  I didn't notice
anything mentioned about it recently, or in the N4 book either.  I
remember with N1 there was a noticeable difference, especially if you
tried to run that abhorable Chevy.  In N2 I never noticed, but then
again in all the years and hours I spent driving that sim I only drove
a Grand Prix (started from when one day I actually switched to the GP
in N1 and was amazed by the handling advantage over the Chevy.

From what I understand about N2/99/3, there was only a slight difference
between the different car types (were talking only a few pounds of weight on
the front/rear). This was easily compensated for my adjusting the weight
yourself. Chevy had a little more weight up front then the Fords, and
Pontiac was suppose to be right in the middle of them. So, with a couple
clicks of front/rear weight in the right direction, you were able to make
the Ford the same as a Chevy or vise-versa.

As for N4? I have no clue as there are many other options for Papy to make
subtle changes between the different types, but remember that it wasn't too
long ago that Papy made the change from 1 to all 4 types and  the only
difference is in the paintshop that I have noticed... of course I have not
actually tested the 4 different types so, again, I have no clue.

One clue could be that the N4 engine is based on GPL's which has 7 distinct
chassis built in.  These include differences in wheel diameter, wheelbase,
chassis length, aerodynamic drag etc.  Now I realise Nascars have an
indentical wheelbase but things like aerodynamic drag differences must
surely be modelled since the engine is capable of it.

Unfortunately I am speaking purely hypothetically becasue my copy of N4
hasn't arrived here in the UK yet.

Cheers

Phil

As far as I know, the only difference is purely cosmetic.....

Sorry I can't comment on that since I only drive DODGES
and can't say how the other brands react.  I will say that the
DODGE CARS seem pretty much like I would expect the
other cars to feel like and that I have no experience with those
other cars cuz they don't have the INTREPID name or the DODGE
Ram symbol.
sorry....(somebody cover Goy's eyes for this post)

Their all equal, much like Nascar tries to make them all equal.

Some people do nothing wrong.
The problem is, they do nothing.
And THAT is wrong.
