How come there's a slot for 6th gear? It's greyed-out but why is it there

Because the BRM uses 6 forward gears.

You really should, every now and then I feel like I've gotten pretty
good at driving the GPL cars, I then take the BRM for a spin, literally,
just to make sure I don't forget I still have lots to learn.... :-)
