Doesn't the author of the review state that he prefers arcade sim racers and
that he likes to drive the sim from the "outside" view.  Kind of says it all
right there.  My 9 year nephew was out here last week, and he has the same
preferences.

What's wrong with the young generation ? I have a 9 year old nephew also.
Its like talking to a brick wall trying to explain to him how the nuances of
driving on the edge and trying to win a race *without* running into all the
other cars is actually fun. His first ( and repeating ) response when I show
him Gp2 or Nascar 2 is " how do you get to drive from outside the car "? If
I pass a car without actually ramming it he exclaims " ooh, why didn't you
hit him"?

Wait a minute !  Heck this could just be it !  Do you suppose our nephews
actually moonlight as magazine game reviewers ?
