un-equalled by any sport.

Unless your TW and need a bit of help with a "movable obstruction"  :O)

Rules!

They are all a matter of interpretation and that is the loophole that allows
some to go around the "spirit of the law".

Annoying!

Bingo!  This man has hit the nail on the head.  Great post Goy.

That's *exactly* what should have happened.  Ferrari wouldn't DARE fire
them for that.  And even if Ferrari did, it would speak loads for their
m***character on their resume.  :-)

Now there's someone with the balls to stand up to his employer when they
are wrong.  Highly commendable.

This is what I was hoping to see from Schumacher. To finally see him show
some balls and gain back some respect but he continues to choose the party
line and why not. It benefits Schumacher and Schumacher alone to do so. I've
lost a fair bit of respect for Reubens as well. The "They pay me to lose"
attitude he has accepted is fit for a loser.

I can still respect Irvine though.

Precisely Goy. In the grand scheme of things Ferrari or any other team for
that matter is only concerned with constructor points which Ferrari got full
points for that day whether Reubens was #1 or #2.

Frank Williams has always contended that he really doesn't care which of his
drivers if any won the Drivers championship. It's Contructor points that
matter. It would be the same for Ferrari.

It was just another selfish decision for Schumacher to not let Reubens win.
What's Ferrari going to do? Fire Schumacher? Sure...

Dunno if you would call snooker a sport, but sometimes refs don't always
spot every foul and yet these guys tell the referee when they've made a
foul during their shot.  Can't get more sporting than that. :)

Bit OT I guess, but I'd like to get a brief recap here if possible ?

I'm not into golf so I guess I've missed something here...

But would he have said "stuff it" as Rubens or as Michael?  Two VASTLY
different things, actually.  Different from position of power, or possible
reprimands, or even job security...

Golf has typically been one of those "good 'ol boy" sports where blacks were
denied access.  I'm sure there are a lot of people who are pissed off that
Tiger Woods has done so well...

I'm just bugged that Tiger has raised the profile of golf so that it now
gets time on the nightly sports that used to be reserved for the only true
sport: hockey ;)
