SCGT new cars hack

Clayton Brazil has worked on a hack to let all cars in the Demo for SCGT to
be driven.  It is a neat hack that lets you drive all the 911s GT3 models
and GT1 models plus the Callaway C12, and the Saleen Mustang.  You need to
leave the player name as YOUR NAME and it works great.

Is the above sentence the actual hack?  I don't have the game
available to me right now so I can't try it.

DAve,

No it is a solution to a problem in the hack, tho I think it has been fixed
tho.  I was able to get hack to work after downloading it and using that
for a player name.

Actually, you can use your regular name if you follow the instructions
correctly.  The hack is telling you to rename files with the name you
are using.  This is what the readme says:

+++++++++++++
Unzip the files in this archive into the SAVE subfolder of your main
SCGT folder. Rename the 'Your Name' folder to your name, and then
rename the Your Name.plr file to your name as well.
+++++++++++++

If you have played the demo,  you already have a folder with the name
you have been using. You need to rename that folder to something else.
THEN...change the name of the folder created when you unzipped the
hack (YOUR NAME) to whatever you were using for a name.  Following
that, change the name of the new Your Name.plr file to reflect the
name you have been using, which will be the same name as the newly
renamed  folder created by the hack.
