Gpl 65 and Gem+ Question

Hi all,
For the past couple of days I've been running GPL 65. Lately I notice when I
exit via GEM, a pop up confirmation window appears and asks me if I would
like to "update the 65place.ini file"
What is this file?
I've answering yes and haven't noticed any significant change.

The plac65.ini is the file that saves your best times and options. This is
the file you upload to gplrank to get a handicap rank.

perhaps you turned on confirm changes on exit under the configure button?
