I tried F12002 online through Gamespy a month ago. I have a cable broadband
connection, and still could not compete in a race properly. The only thing I
could do was qualifying, providing no cars got near me. They'd jump all
around, and were impossible to race anywhere near. The races themselves were
disgusting. Everyone piled ontop of eachother on turn 1 at Monza. I just
slowed down, and made it through without incident and lead the rest of the
race until I caught up to some lapped traffice, and got in an accident. Then
gave up.
Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that everyone seems to be spread out
across the globe? I suppose if you started a race broadband with people in
your general area, the connection rate would be fine?
