SideWinder problem

I came home with my new sidewinder precision racing wheel today and
installed it.But it will not work with any games i have..The one i most
want to get going with is Nascar3..I click on the options and set it for
wheel but it stiil wont reconize it in the game ..Any help would be much
appreciated...(its usb)

Make sure it is using the direct X driver option.  This is an option from a
drop down menu on the controls page.

It worked for mine with Nascar Racing 3 but I have a non USB wheel.

same here, any advances?

mine cant calibrate the wheel, but i does OK with the
pedals. same in GPL

Make sure that it is set to #1  ID in the list of game controllers (My
Computer/Game Controllers/Advanced). If you have any Joysticks etc, one of
these may still be at the top of the list.
