Papyrus' E3 showing???

by Dave Henri » Wed, 10 Jul 2002 22:30:00

How come when I read coverage of E3 there is no mention of anything by
Papyrus for the upcomming year?   Ymenard or somebody here stated they
announced NR 2003 but I haven't found a site that has any mention of that.
Is there anyplace with some coverage of what Papyrus did for E3?
  2nd question..(bonus material)
What does the resignation of the bozo who ran Vivendi mean for
Havas/Sierra/Papyrus?  I know Papy has been forced to lay off a bunch of
folks.  But with the guy responsible for loosing gazillions of Vivendi cash
gone, will the corporation cut loose enities like Sierra?

Actually, there's about NO mention of any kind of racing simulation during
the E3 convention.  Really, it was pathetic, it's really sad.  Just a couple
here and there, like from Codemaster, but it was really poor.  No
developpers seem to have the guts or the balls to give us what we want, they
all fear bad sales.  It's the chicken/egg concept :(

Anyway, iirc it was behind the doors that they simply stated that they were
working on it, there wwas no preview.

Dunno.  Phone Vivendi perhaps? :)
