Where did you hear that the Stealth II is being shipped now? I can't
wait to try one out with Nascar 2 and SODA. Anyway, to answer your
questions, the V2100 is about 15% slower than the V2200 in 3D.
Diamond is claiming a 3D Winbench score of 187 for the Stealth II on a
P2/266, which places it in the same class as the Voodoo. The V2100
also lacks some of the bells and whistles of the V2200, e.g.,
DVD/MPEG-2 acceleration; TV/Video in/out; 8mb capability; and a
slower RAMDAC -- 170mhz vs. 203/230 for the V2200. It appears to be
about twice as fast as the V1000 in 3D. 2D performance is reputed to
be vastly improved as well.
