Ok. I'll try to quote a little:

First of all, their conclusion is that it is not perfect, but it is the best
contemporary F1 sim around (ok, this is not necessarilly indicative for typical
r.a.s. posters)

- they stress the fact that they could not find ANY bugs in there; think this
might be an important quote?

- they agree about the sound: engine sound is very GP2-ish, other sounds are new
though

- dynamical weather changes are reported as very "fluid" (i.e. no apparent
sudden transitions)

- drying line appears WHERE YOU DRIVE (not just on "the racing line")

- good feeling of speed

- they mention filtered textures and anti-aliasing. They certainly DON'T talk
about apparent pixellation

- only graphics critique is about the identical carshapes and***pits

- lateral movement of in-cockpit view in fast curves

- movement of in-car view indicates surface

- extreme braking-actions cause tiremarks, and they remain on the track for the
entire race-weekend

-all-in-all impressive attention to graphics detail

- able to get out of sandtraps (they reckon this is not as realistic as it
should be, but in the interest of gameplay), and "with damage you CAN reach the
pits if you are cautious"

- AI definitely improved again. Looks more human (also in making mistakes)

- they talk about differential setup and also "Radstand". I'm not sure whether
this could actually be "camber" after all?

- unable to overrev the engine

- you can only go to reverse gear if you are standing still

- there IS a rev-limiter in the pits

Most critique focusses on the "missing features" that have been debated to
death.

Well, it sounds similar...

I didn't find any bugs either, couple of clipping problems, but no real
showstoppers. It runs well, is well behaved (as an application) and it's got
fast load times. It's got loads of graphic options to adapt it to your
system and lot's of driver aids to accommodate the novice racers. All
beautifully presented, I even like the background tune. I, however, am
looking for the game which lifts modern F1 sims to the GPL level, which GP3
doesn't.

Again, all depends on how you look at it. For the casual gamer I'd have no
problems recommending Gp3 as highly as Game Mania Germany do, but for the
people who've "been there, done that", there's not enough there to put it a
cut above the rest.

IMO, of course.

I could take that, but there are so many complaints about pixellated graphics
and such. Nothing about that in the Gamesmania review. The opposite, even.

I think it looked ok... little blocky in places, but who cares if it flashes
by at 180mph?

At 800x600 with everything on, BTW.

Besides, who says these people got their graphic card to work
properly? -took me 3 hours to figure out the best settings.

Try it in a higher resolution than 800 x 600. It will look much better.
