I'm having too much fun with RFactor to bother with anything else.

I just picked it up yesterday, but only have about an hour of time into
it.  I was extremely impressed with it for the little time I have in it.

Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to get online and race a little.

It is still not released in many places. No sign of it in the UK so I
believe a lot of us are just waiting rather than ordering from other
countries.

Yes, looks like it's slipped in most places to Oct 6th and those of us lucky
enough to have picked up an ebay copy haven't had time because our mates are
still driving GTR and GTL.

Andi.

I am pretty sure that Best Buy has it fairly nation wide for $19.99. I got
mine Tues. I like it a lot. I am have a bit of a problem with the FF on my
black Momo... Tried it on normal and reversed effects but no go yet. I like
the "bouncing around" effects in***pit view on the bumps. It really gets
intense.......

Ditto - picked it up Thursday at BB (great deal), just in time for my 21"
CRT at home to go south.  Timing....

Grabbed a 17" LCD from the office to use over the weekend and got my first
look at it online yesterday.  Works pretty much the same as GTL from what I
can see so far - saw some issues with disappearing cars, especially on the
grid, but mostly pretty stable.  Lots of fun too; first online race was a
20-lapper at Valencia in the pouring rain after dry practice and qualy on
slicks.  Talk about an adjustment; certainly no issues with excess grip
there!  Ended up tip-toeing to 2nd OA, 1st G2 in the Vette, short-shifting
and pedaling it everywhere to keep the torque from biting me in the arse.
Which it did on several occasions anyway - Motec histogram said full
throttle about 25% of the time.

Had some fun with the driving school, learning mostly that my DFP pedals
suck for brake modulation (but I already knew that).  Would rewire my trusty
CH pedals into the DFP harness if a G25 wasn't on the horizon.  New wheel to
come, new 22" widescreen already on the way; that twenty bucks is getting
expensive... ;-)

Steve.. I hear ya.  I have a Dell 20in Widescreen and it looks great.
I've been "needing" to upgrade my PC for about a year now, but to be
honest... my P4-3.0ghz, 2GB of Ram, and X800XT AIW card is actually
still performing pretty darn well, even with GTR2.

The G25 is definitely going to be coming soon, and I'll put my Red MOMO
and ECCI 3000 pedals up on EBAY shortly there after I imagine.

I'm already working on re-desinging my custom dashboard box I built to
work with the G25 and it's button configuration for the wheel/shifter.

I'm going to run with the G25 pedals first, and see how they are and if
they are decent, I'll probably buy an ECCI pedal set to match up with
the wheel.

I downloaded the MOTEC interpreter, etc... but I haven't really played
with it that much to learn all the useful information that can be
gathered on there.   I'm afraid there is a "sucking" baseline chart that
will have a line pegged at the top for my laps....    ;)

Yup, that's the one.  Widest thing I have desk space for, and only 1/2"
wider at the case than my big old (dead) 21" Dell CRT.  Killer price point
they're hitting with that; there are cheaper ones but the Samsung looks to
be the only 22" out right now with an 8-bit panel.  The color banding on
6-bit panels always annoys me.  Not much info out on them yet but you can
find a review here and there; looks to be best for *** and general use,
maybe not the best for Artwork.  Should be a good match for my purposes.  A
review: http://www.racesimcentral.net/

Should have it in a couple of days - will let you know how it goes.

I noticed the exact same thing with my Black Momo pedals.  It's more of a
switch than a gradual brake application.

I noticed the same issues in rFactor.

The accellerator is pretty notchy too.  Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing,
wham!  There is almost no low-throttle modulation there.

Hopefully the G25 I have ordered as well will be a LOT better.
