I remember somebody mentioning that. It was covered in the Sierra
Forums. I don't think anyone posted here how to do that.

To eliminate the animated background throughout the program add the following to the command line in the shortcut:
-freezeanims
Right click on the shortcut and select Proerties.
If the target looks something like this...
D:\Games\NR2003\NR2003.exe
...make it look like this...
D:\Games\NR2003\NR2003.exe -freezeanims
If the target looks something like this...
"D:\Games\NR2003\NR2003.exe"
...make it look like this...
"D:\Games\NR2003\NR2003.exe" "-freezeanims"

Will this also disable the background audio effects while in the garage?
My mouse tends to lock up and some of the settings sliders go nuts at times.
I think it's related to the garage sounds.
