What are the requirements to run the GPL demo.  From what I've heard, it sounds like a cool game.

Thanks

sounds like a cool game.

YOU NEED SOMETHING LIKE A VOODOO 2 WITH 12 MEGS, 64 MEGS OF RAM AND AN INTEL
P-300 MMX

A 32MB P166 with a Rendition or 3Dfx card is more than capable of
running the demo with great results...

With all detail except cars turned off in mirrors, sky off, and
trackside objects at minimum, it plays just fine on my P133, 32MB, with
Rendition V1000.  Now if there were additional cars in the demo that
would be different, but I too find it hard to understand why some people
are reporting such problems with frame rate.  Maybe the Rendition cards
do a better job than the Voodoos with the game, I wouldn't doubt it,
this is a Papy/Sierra sim afterall.

With all detail on? If so, are you kidding? Why should a new game run
on an old machine with all the graphic options?

I run it on my base testing machine, P166mmx, 64mbs, Matrox Mystique and
Monster3D (Voodoo 1) as smooth as silk with the demo. I am afraid that the
final version may not give the frame rates that I have now with the added
cars and scenery. I hope not. I should have a small review on the demo
within the week on Software Critics Unlimited. Really enjoying it. We
normally don't do demos or beta software, but this one is worth the space to
review. Stop by the page and take a look.
