I did'nt try the game on a network yet. But remember that F1RS is based
on the POD engine (also an Ubisoft product), which was working pretty
well on network. There is a great probability that F1RS is good on
network.

It seems logic.
Hope so...

Thierry.

Yes - worked first time.

No apparent drop in frame rates experienced.

Only gripe is you cannot mix easy and realistic settings across users (I
was playing my seven year old son - so he had to have realistic - boo!)

Alain,

Works fine here over the LAN. No hint of lock-up. The main problem, however,
is that you usually have to play at the level of the 'lowest common
denominator' that is you cannot set 1 player to use the easy setting (which
allows autobraking) whilst permitting others to set realistic & choose what
driving aids they want. What would really clinch it for this title would be
force-feedback so you could 'sense' how hard you were braking, cornering,
etc. - strange - Microsoft have it listed as one of the titles supporting FF
on their SideWinder web page but the game, manuals & help files make no
mention of such... anyone know if this is the sort of thing we can expect
'patched in'?

Regards
DM
