Nope! Not from what I have seen. They definitely avoid crashes; at least
with the unpatched version they do :-) In fact this is about the best AI I
have
driven against yet. When they are coming up to pass you (and it will happen
when you first get the game) just drive off of the driving line and they
will
not touch you. A marked difference from the french demo I tried.

For some real fun dont race just watch a rain race at SPA....the AI is
good real good.

To me the bare fact that F1RS has rain puts it way out ahead of any
other F1 sims.

How do you let the computer cars race each other?  I can only find how
to watch a demonstration free run of the track (solo).
I know it's gotta be simple, but I usually have problems with the real
obvious.  :)

I was assuming there was a mode that was for demonstration purposes,
allowing you to watch everyone race.

I guess it will work, but it aint gonna help me win a race.  Who am I
kidding?  A few laps in and Ive automatically spun out to the side of
the track anways :)

Notice that I was recommending watching a rain race at Spa...hint hint
hint.....<VBG>....can you say spin, then I discovered how fun watching
races was.... Makes you wonder how arrogant I am to have had this sim
for a total of 2 hours and selecting a Rain Race at Spa.

On a related note...well not so related...the sense of speed thru Eau
Rouge is extremely well done.

Depends what level you are competing at, Marc.
The lowest level is a good starting ground as it gives you a chance to,
if not win, then at least score some points, even without fine-tuning
the car set-up.  "Expert" level is much more difficult to be successful
in.....as it should be. The set-ups have to be spot on if you are going
to be competitive against the AI.
