Cannot get drivers info to recognize all the cars I put into the car folder?
Also when I click on new driver the game freezes? Anyone experience these
problems, got a fix or solution????
Thanks

Try only putting the maximum of 128 drivers in the cars file. Put the rest in
another folder and swap them out when you want to use another car.

As for your other problem, make sure you have The Player's car in your
car folder.  That would be the t_player car or truck file.

I don't think this is the problem. I do not have a t_player.car or t_player.trk
in either of my directories in NR199 or a t_player.car in N2 and they all 3 run
fine.

I think he has more than 128 cars in his file.

Yes, the game works fine without this particular file in the cars
directory.  However, you cannot create a new driver within the game
without it.  The game would crash after you've entered a new driver's
filename.

Not wanting to be argumenative, but where do you get your information? I don't
have any of those t_player files in my directories in NR1999 or N2 and I can
make new drivers all day long and it doesn't crash my game.

Hmm...that's odd.  Maybe I have a bad copy of both games.  ;)

But I do find that if I don't have the t_player car file in the Cars
directory, I cannot create a new player profile w/o crashing.  The
game would crashed after I've entered the new player's filename.  The
new player's carfile would appear in the cars directory, but the file
is corrupted.  It seems that the game uses The Player car paint scheme
as the paint scheme for the newly created player's car.  Without that
particular car file, the game doesn't seem to know what particular
paint scheme the new car should have.

Maybe I'm only one who has this problem.  If so, oh, well...
