After calibrating wheel, car goes left, when turning right, and vise
versa.  Any suggestions?  I have propanel installed.
Thanks

Sound like you have a new FF wheel. If so you are apparently just
screwed. It basically doesn't work. If it does, you are lucky. Period.

I asked Eric T. Busch in another post in this NG if papy was going
to have a fix for this "feature". So far I have heard/read nothing.
Good for them, I'll remember that when N3 comes out.

He just has to do what the prompt says while calibrating:
"Steer to the left, then to the right." If you do the opposite while
calibrating, the car will do the opposite, too...

Your mouse has moved. Windows must be restarted for the change
to take effect. Reboot now?

Not with the MS-FF wheel I used. The calib-numbers jittered all over the
place after calibrating. The car always veered to the right during
shifting and even on it's own down the straights after you were in 4th.
Are you saying you have a digital Force Feedback wheel which
is calibrated properly in the DOS version of NR1999? I am saying
you do not (in fact no one can get this to work properly).

The wheel works fine in win95.  Only when I calibrate in DOS for multiplay,
 does it act screwy.
It's a TM pro, by the way.

Oh, the misunderstandings never end... ;^)
We're talking about two different problems here.

In DOS & MS FF wheel I had the exact same problems that you have, but he had a
problem
you can have with ANY wheel under ANY OS. By steering to the right and then
left you can invert the steering action in N2 and N99. Try it with the Win95
version of N99.
