Ok i finally got f1 2001 to work, but after i install the two development
updates it fails to load. The little f1 2001 screen pops up and it searches
the cd for a sec then when it normally dissapears and the game contiunes to
load, it just sits back at the desktop and does nothing..... Should i be
only installing the first update?? Has anyone else experienced this problem,
its extremely frustrating

Try installing a nocd patch.

The other thing it does when it wont work, is in 3d setup when u click
analize it comes back instantly and the triangle rate is 0.0mtri/sec and
puts the textures to high/full. So i dont think its related to the cd at
all.... where is the nocd patch anyway?

Luke,

I had the very same problem earlier and fixed it exactly like Dave
suggested you to do. While it may sound stupid that a nocd patch would
do the trick give it a go.
