F1CS2K: Loading screens for new tracks?

by Suppor » Sun, 18 Feb 2001 01:19:07

I just tried installing the 3rd party add-on tracks for F12K (Laguna
Seca, Road Atlanta and Sebring) into F1CS2K and they're working...8^).
However, I used to have some graphics for the loading screens for these
tracks when I was running F12K. I  lost these when I uninstalled F12K.
Can anyone tell me where I might find them again? I checked
"bhmotorsports" and didn't see them.

If anyone could tell me where to find them, or even e-mail them to me,
I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

J. P. Hovercraft

Where did you get the tracks from. I asume they are a conversion from
SCGT.

Hi Jeff,

Use this link and click on "Track Updates". Now all I need is the Mosport
track. Anyone know where I can find that?

Whoops! Spoke too soon! LagunaSeca isn't working, but RoadAtlanta and Sebring
are. Found Donington as well and it's working. Look for a link to it by
following the link in the first reply to my original message, i.e.
http://www.f1gamers.com

So in summary, I'm still looking for the Mosport track, Donington loading
graphics and a LagunaSeca that works in F1CS2K. Hope someone can help.

Do a search in Dejanews, these have been covered a couple of times in the last
couple of weeks...

Quick review:
Laguna Seca, and Road Atlanta can be made to work in F1cs2k by changing the
order of the name in the .scn files for the track, and you can race longer than
5 laps by editing the track params into the .gdb file

Mosport is VERY BUGGY at the present time... a new version is supposed to be on
the way...

good luck
