Hi all,

I just found this link on the High Gear forums:

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

it's a link to a utility called GP3 Advanced Physics Editor. I haven't
tested it yet, but it seems to allow a lot of physics variables to be
changed. Amongst them, it's apparently also possible to change the
optimal slip angles, the only thing I wanted to see tweaked in GP3
actually (the tires appear to be too stiff currently). I can't wait to
get home and try it out!

Sounds good. When you are finished with it  tell me what settings are
the most realistic.

Hi,

I've just played around a bit, and I must say it's really great fun
experimenting with it. As there appear to be no proper units in the
editor, I don't know what the realistic values are, but doubling the
values for slip angles does indeed produce drifts that are very similar
to what a real car does on TV (and consistent with my simulation).
Anyone who ever (mistakenly) thought that GP3 model is 'on rails' should
try this!
