Need for Speed updates?

Need for Speed updates?

I have two questions.  First of all, I remember that there was talk by someone
a couple of months ago to set up either a web site or a newsgroup to trade NFS
replays.  Does anyone know if this has happened?  Secondly, has anyone heard
if EA is going to come out with expansion packs for NFS that would include new
tracks and/or cars?  I am ready to drive a Ferrari F50 and a 1996 Porsche 911
Turbo!  If anyone knows of any plans of this type in the future, please let me
know.

Thanks.

There are a few NFS web sites,  try
http://www.atw.fullfeed.com/~bix/nfs.htm    and follow the links to others.

I also asked about who was going to set up an NFS replay website, but got
no answer.  The scuttlebut on here from EA was that no updates or
anything was planned for NFS at all..which REALLY sucks...I'd love to see
some of the 'non' super sports cars (Talon, GS-R, SE-R, Cobra, Z-28, etc)
as well as the new new supercars (911T, F50, McLaren F1, Bugatti EB110, etc)
but oh well...I have a friend who is into cars also, and we have this
fantasy that when we win the mone yand have more moeny than god, We'll
BUY all the good games (arcade games like Daytona USA, Indy 500, and
Ridge Racer) and hire programmers to REALLY make them real with real life
tracks...oh well...and pigs'll fly outta my ***too.

Hate to ***into other people's dreams, but if you've got more
money than God, why would you waste your time buying and making great
driving games when you could actually buy REAL Porsches, Bugattis, et
cetera and drive those instead?  And make real tracks as well, a la
Roger Penske?  Just my two cents' worth...
