I have no problems with it, what so ever.
Run in 800x600, all cars, some detail down, and the mirrors are fine.
36fps all the time, except on the grid at the start. Then the fps is 27, but
500m later 36fps again.
I use Asus's 3.68 drivers

a p3 or athlon and a geforce with ddr-ram is the fastest overall
combination available at the moment ... except for GPL. if you play GPL
only, go for a voodoo3, but if you also play other games, maybe also
some opengl ones and you have some spare money: go for the geforce ddr.
in GPL it's almost as fast as the voodoo3 (I get a rock stable 36fps at
1024x768 with mirrors every 2nd frame and just some eye-candy turned
off), but faster than a voodoo2-sli.

I don't know the looks with a voodoo card but mine finary looks great
and will be better with the FSAA support. You can speed up the framerate
because it does a nice thing with the screen so you can run the game in
a lower resolution. I heard it "looks" the same:
1024x768
or 640x480 with FSAA enabled.
I think the option on using it comes with the betadriver 5.08 and better
5.13.
