What is the key to fast time a Talledega. Do you guys with the fast times
ever hit the brakes are do you just feather the accelerator?? I find it
impossible not to brake a little in one of the corners?? Whats the best
line around the track???

With a good setup, you should never have to use the brakes (except to
pit). You may have to lift slightly on the gas to stay in the draft,
but otherwise keep it floored. I've found the best line is to enter
the turns just below the tiremarks (keep altering your entry until you
can minimize tire squeal) and stay in the lower lane (near the first
dotted line) through the middle of the turns.
I've had good success with my setup and the one contributed by Pekka
Heino (both are on my webpage). I can easily run upper 194's to low
195's in testing at 70 degrees with no wind, and upper 196's while in
the draft.
