I believe I've found a bug at Texas. I was racing at Texas the other night
and as a passed pit road exit, I saw a slow car down low. I stayed high
right behind the car in front of me. Well, as I approached this car (Jeff
Burton). It just quickly darted over and slammed right into me wrecking me
and him together. I have never seen the AI do this before at any other
track. It really scared and suprised me!

Shouldn't there be some sort of collision avoidance mechanism.

I have the replay saved if anybody wants to see it at papy.

This sounds like the infamous HOG (Hand of God) problem which has been
well documented here in the past.  I had this problem in N1.  I
personally have not seen this problem yet in N2.

The exact same thing happened to me at California. Well not the exact same but,
 I was up to speed down the backstretch in practice and cars were still coming
 out of the pits and blending in. (Bobby Labonte and Jeff Green) were low and
 slow gathering speed, when all of a sudden Green darts out to pass Labonte all
 the way to the wall and right in front of me. No time for me even to react.
 Luckily I was far enough off the wall and I just split them down the middle.
 Maybe be a problem, or isolated incidents. You make the call.

Happened to me at California.  The AI car came out of the pits and I was
expecting him to stay low, suddenly he darts across to the wall, taking the
car in front of me out thus sending me into the wall as well.  Really
ticked me off.

This used to be quite common in N1 but I've never seen it happen to me
in N2.
