Which game to buy..

I've got an AMD K6 2-300 with a Raven AGP Voodoo Banshee card, 128 MB SDRAM,
and a Logic 3 Wheel.

So, what game do I go and buy.  Is GPL as good as everyone SAYS it is.  Will
it run like the proverbial shit of a shoval on mine, or not.  If it won't,
then what should I get.

I have a K6-2/300, 64 MB SDRAM, CL Banshee AGP...works fine for me. I get
33-36 FPS with 14 cars offline, pretty much 36 fps all the time online.
I run 800x600, no lighting or specular highlights, no driver arms or wheel,
cars only in the mirrors, and trackside objects at 'many'.
Oh, and I have sounds set to 7.

K6-2 350 here with banshee and 64 megs. GPL will run OK on your rig but you
wont be able to run full detail in a race *and* get 36 FPS. I find GPL so
intense that I dont look at the scenery much anyway except for braking
points.

Just download the 18mb demo from Papy.com and give it a whirl.  If it works for
you, buy the game!
