Header says it all really..is the AI any good ie cars religiously follow one
line like they are trains and barge you out of the way to stay on that line
or drive right over you? graphics look good, it look similar to F1RS or
MGPRS (which I have) What are the weather effects like? big roosters in
rain? dazzling sun reflecting in the visor? but most importantly to me....is
it s SIM? I prefer my sims to arcade games and this game says it has both
modes which worried me a little..how much detail have they gone into for
tweaking setups? Should I buy this or hang on to MGPRS until Microprose GP3
comes out next spring?

OF1RS Has not been getting very good response from this news group,
I bought it, but i can say that it is not anywhere near being a Good
F1 sim. I use it for multiplayer sessions at my house with newbie drivers
who cant handle the difficulty of a MGPRS2 but still want to have a fun and
exciting f1 experience. the graphics look pretty Good,
the fact that it has FF is a plus (although there is very little FF pressure
against the steering wheel), going Full blast over the curbs is pretty
cool, there are alot of incar camera veiws that look good. but still as a
MGPRS2 AND GPL FAN I cant recommend this game at all, stay away.
run MGPRS and wait for GP3

I've got MGPRS2 (which is a very good sim), and I have OF1R (which is not a
good sim).
Stay away from OF1R. It's not a very good game at all. If you prefer sims,
you'll not like OF1R at all.
I have not been able to play it long enough to say how good the AI is, or if
it has nice rain effects. It's that bad.

Totally agree, stick with MGPRS and GPL until GP3 comes out. OF1R is a bit
of fun, but not much more.
