CTFJ UTILITY--- > A.K.A. 'CENTER THE F***ING JOYSTICK'.
=========================================================
This utility has helped my steering -immensely- with games such as
LeMans, Driver, RC2000, OF1R, TOCA2, even DTR, etc..
You know the problem, large deadzones, sudden oversensitive
steering, etc. (nod your head yes... thanks)
I made a little illustration of how I use CTFJ to improve
steering in these sorts of games and you can get it here:
ftp://ftp.mindspring.com/users/rrev/ctfj.gif
The utility is CTFJ, it is free, and you can get it here:

It will make your steering hassles a thing of the
past -if- you experiment with it. LeMans, for example,
steers as well as any other game/sim on my HD at
this point. There are other problems w/LeMans... but..
I use the instructions in the illustration and a lower
sensitivity in the LeMans prefs, like 25-30%.
I have also used it to tweak better sims like GPL and SCGT.
I use a TSW wheel, but it works equally well with any
stick or wheel. Particularly wheels.
A big thanks to Bob 'Sticky' Church who wrote CTFJ
and continues to improve it.
