How can I reduce deadzone in pedals?

by Matti Hirvone » Tue, 31 Jul 2001 04:38:20

I have this problem with pedals. When I push the pedal( CH Pro ) a little
bit nothing happens like there is a deadzone. Same thing as I push it to the
bottom and lift a little it is still full gas/brake. This same problem is
with LWFF pedals and CH Pro Pedals. So is it possible to calibrate it
somehow because it is important to have precise control and long travel in
pedals when playing games like GPL. I have tryed DXTweak but it doesn`t
solve this problem. Or do I have to  reduce travel with some blocks?

Worked for me, had the same problem with my MSFF, only lost about 1cm of
travel with blocks under them but the increase in control was worth it

Or, having taken my pedals apart, try moving the brake pot forward a
tooth so it doesn't start off the end of the carbon 'track'.
