I can't get used to the LWFF
Tried a zillion diffrent core ini setups but I don't like it !!
I got back to my old homebuild and breaking records again :)

I'll never go back to using a spring loaded wheel.

Up until last nite, I agreed with you. I have a LTFF that has been mostly
sitting in the closet for several moths. I just couldn't control the car
with it, and ended up in the hedges way too much. So I'd go back to my LT
Formula, and all would be well.
Last nite, at the suggestion of Larry Linthicum, I put on a bit of centering
spring. This is the one thing I hadn't tried, since everything I'd read said
it was awful. I put it at 20%, used Alison Hine's core.ini settings for FF,
except the max force set at 250. All the other settings at 100% in the game
controller, except damping, which I have at 10%. Get rid of the LT Profiler
if you have it installed with a LT wheel. It messes me up too.
And surprise, I can drive with FF! I'm actually staying on the track,
getting very close to my non-FF times, and enjoying the FF. I've backed the
spring force down to 15%, and hope to slowly get rid of it as I learn to
drive with FF. But it's working great for me now.
Hope that helps,

I am no hotshoe (by far ...) and when the GPL 1.1 patch came, I tried
FF, liked it, but could not drive consistent and fast with it. after
some weeks I got used to it and now I don't wanna miss it! I even think
I could not to without again ...
