Sorry, Mark - I didn't see the request message until just now.  You'll be on
for next race.

I did check the roster page to make sure I had the right nick. I
wonder if it has to do with installing the game on another PC. You
know, like the game can only be used on one PC.

Update: it's a wiring fault... if I wiggle the wire at the wheel end the
throttle and brake jump about. This can and will be easily fixed thanks to
Jone Tytlandsvik and his very usefull MOMO page:

Ok, just checked my replay and I owe John a big sorry for the nudge I gave
him as I spun back up the track. Sorry John, hope it didn't cause too much
of a problem for you.

I think I may owe Uwe an apology too, I thought you were staying high to let
me through but then you came back down while I was making a move (following
Neil through). I didn't realise at the time we had made contact, but after
seeing the replay it seems it put you in the wall, sorry.

While I'm making my apologies, I'm going to offer some advice to some of the
newer drivers.
A: Don't swerve when someone is passing you. Try and hold a steady line when
exiting corners (several times I had to slam the brakes on because someone
moved across while I was about to pass)
B: Keep up with the pace line / pace car. Someone dropped back about 8 secs
on one of the restarts.
C: Don't let Ginger win, now that Tim White isn't racing no one else has a
chance :)

Actually, I scraped the wall as I went by you - I don't think you
touched me at all.

No worries, but I did get damage, and pitted which placed me near the
end of the pack. If I had just gone ahead and stayed out, I wouldn't
have been caught up in the ***in turn 3 after the restart.

Thank you for restarting the race for me, John.  (I tried to grab a quick
break b4 the start & just missed it).

My race was messed up from the early going...  After pitting w/ Ian during
the 2nd yellow (don't know what lap,  my replay doesn't start 'til lap 14...
gotta up that replay mem  :o/ ), I restarted back in the pack.  There was a
free for all in turn 2, Ian made it through, I didn't.  Got tagged from
behind exiting 2, tho it may have been my fault (I might have drifted up
into someone)  Won't know for sure until I can dl the full replay.  Anyway,
I think I was the only 1 to get in trouble, hitting the wall & getting some
damage, so I pitted to repair it b4 realising that there was no yellow
(duh).  Lost a lap, & w/ minor aero damage (could see a little bit of the
hood sticking up) , lost ~5-10 mph top end.  :o(

After a few restarts, where I tried to stay w/ the leaders (hopeless) to get
a lap back, I was just cruising when, on the last (or next to last) yellow
at lap 51, The flying Brits (Ginger, Neil, & Ian), who were at least 10
seconds ahead of me,slowed enough (alot!) to let me get the lap back.

Because of my job, I'm not able to make as many of these races as I would
like, & the races I did get to have left a little to be desired (random
breakdowns(2), my own silly goofs, & the occasional punt).

Again, thx JS for the restart, & to Ginger, Neil, & Ian, some of the best
guys you could ever hope to race with.

I'm honored to race w/ you guys.

NP Ian, if I came back down it's totally my fault (too stupid
to save the replay, so I cannot check "my" view of things,
sorry ;-)

Bye for now,

I was one of them :(  I had the whole thing missed, then WHAMMO!  A car came
up out of the infield from nowhere and that was that.

I tried to continue, but after getting caught up in a another similar second
incident out of turn 1, I had to throw in the towel.

My last 3 races have been disasters.  Man, I hope Michican is better.  It's
a big wide track!

After getting caught up in someone elses spin for the second time, my rear
end was hosed.  After repairs (LOL!) I went into turn 1, the rear came
around due to no down-force, and I corrected.  Then the front end snapped
around and man I hit the wall like head-on.  That was the fastest snap-to
and hit into the wall I think I've ever experienced in Nascar Racing.  I was
hurt too bad to continue after that.

Pocono can really kill race cars.  Them walls is hard!

Speaking of which, am I the only one that was holding their breath until
they saw Green get out of that #1 car?  That almost ranks up there with
Michael Waltrips instant-destructo wreck at Bristol several years back when
he hit that gate entrance coming out of 4.

I was very, very concerned over that #1 car wreck.

Was this when we touched while I was passing?  If so, sorry about that.  My
car was Evil after the turn-3 incident, but it was still reasonably fast so
I couldn't bring myself to quit.  I thought there was plenty of room between
us, but maybe not :(  After getting caught up in the second incident exiting
turn 1, and my insuing 'boink' into the turn 1 wall on my own, I finally had
to throw in the towel...  At that point, the car was Evil AND pissed off :)

Me and I wasn't the first to spin. Outside pole looped it on the first lap
and someone else spun in front of me on the way to the caution on lap 1. In
my unfortunate incident, I got distracted watching David go through T3
practically sideways(nice save) and went in too hot. Car behind T-boned me
and then I was flipping and spinning. 2 or 3 cars farther back joined in a
little later. Won't be happening again since I'm not running anymore.
Everyone that isn't a *** continue to have fun.

Yepper, I was definatly watching to see how he was, hard to believe he
hit the one place that did not have the earthen wall behind it.
After watching Kenny get out his barrel role and fire so non-chalantly,
well I am starting to think they have these drivers pretty well protected.
It's those damn sliding sideways into walls that seems to really be hurting
drivers anymore.

My replay of our contact is actually pretty kewl, I was slowing a good
bit going into corners because I was so loose.  I go into the corner and you
can just see that my ass is*** out, you had already been catching me
and came in exactly the same *BUT FASTER* :-0  I was up a lane but you were
*** out too and we just touched, it was like a bomb went off between us
or something, we just exploded apart and I into the wall.  That really
killed my handling and then I double downshifted into second (oops) going
into three and I whipped around.  That killed my engine and ended my race
:-(
