Does anybody know where i can get the actual pacejka papers? I have
read the PHoR series and a whole bunch of other stuff with them in,
but I want to see the original document(s). Call it an unhealthy
interest.

Have you tried http://www.sae.org? Seems like that would be your
best bet.

The resulting formulae though are mostly the only thing you need. The
combined Pacejka is a bit more involved, and I've not seen it in any
books, just an article.

There is a little on combined (I assume you mean the friction ellipse) in
g.genta's book (Car Dynamics and Simulation??).

Not really; next to the Fx/Fy/Mz formulae, there is a G() weighing
function to determine the impact of Fx vs. Fy forces. The G() function
uses a couple of cos() calls (and some others, IIRC) to come up with
the weight, so depending on yet-another-bunch-of-parameters, the
influence of lateral forces on longitudinal forces (or vice versa)
results from that.

Ofcourse, I've never seen an example set of coefficients for G() yet.
