D3D / Open Gl question

Just upgraded to athlon 1.2 and geforce2mx from 450celeron and banshee.

GPL seems to run slow.  ie car doesn't seem as fast.  installed 1.2 and d3d
patch.  also installed cpu patch.

Is there anything else i have do,  any settings to adjust other than in
game?

Your problem is that you installed the CPU patch which you're not supposed
to do.
I have 1ghz  Athlon system with Radeon 32mbDDR and GPL runs just fine.
