GTR2002 crashed when loading track.

It took me some doing to at least get the in game menu to run.  Now, when I
click to load the track, I am dumped to the desktop.

WinXP with SP1
AMD XP 1.6 GHz
GeForce 3
512 MB of DDR memory
Abit K7xR-333.

  The quick fixes are:  Make sure your pit crew is set to low and have your
race starting position set to random.

I got the same problems before with Mangy Cours and Valencia, I fixed
the CTD by re-loading the track files from GTR2002.EXE I used WINRAR
to extract just those two sub-folders and copied them to the Tracks
folder. Now no more CTD, try it see if that helps you.

My Solution:   Turn down the screen rez to 1024 X 768 (or less).

I had excatly the same problem. Drove me nuts!!

Of course, this may be completely wrong for you.

Turn FSAA off!

Dothis by running 3D set-up again, then copy info from config.ini and paste
to gt2002config.ini
