I got a Playstation gamepad and a PS2 to USB converter at radio shack. ($20
total :-)

Is there a utility somewhere that will let me remap the numbering of the
buttons in windows itself? Maybe DXTweak or something?

Gee, and you could have bought a pc gamepad for $20 and be done with it.

Believe me I've owned a ton of them and none are as well built as a
Playstation pad. Many people have had problems with the Logitech Dual action
left stick failing. If there was an easier way I would have done it. So does
anyone know if theres a way to remap directinput button numbers?
