Apart from fixing all the explicit bugs I would very much like
Papyrus to fix the following major discrepancies:
- Fix the track AI at Phoenix(too slow in T1) and Oz(AI race line in
the chicanes is bollocks). Without this fix ICR II has 13 tracks,
not 15.
- Decrease the traction at Milwaukke, Nazareth and Loudon to make the
lap times comparable with the real ones. The Mile and Loudon are
particularily bad.
- Get rid of the protruding walls on the back straight at Detroit
to make it up to date with the 1995 layout. It would make the track
a lot better. ICR II is based on the 1995 season...
- Much better statistics. The current state is an outright shame!
Apart from getting better race statistics it would very handy
to have a data acquisition mode during practice, warm-up and preseason.
- Implement a sky texture. It does sooooo much to the perspective.
Take a look at an example at
http://www.racesimcentral.net/~terjjo/simulated_racing.html
to see how GP2 would look like without a sky texture.
It uses exactly the same principle as a horizon texture so there is no
reason whatsoever to leave it out except for frame rate considerations
which also should be no problem as long the sky texture is made
optionable.
